Due to the digital pressures of our time, it can often feel like there is never a good time to do a digital detox, or fast. We highly encourage you to sit with the inquiry of whether it is truly impossible to do a detox from your phone at this time.
It is normal to experience some challenges when setting out to do something that is in resistance to the norms of dominant culture.
Wrestling to make space in your life is an important part of the process of rewiring, reshaping, and resetting a new normal.
If you do indeed conclude that the weekend we have chosen is not the best time for you, you can attend the calls and/or watch the replays to support your own 36-hour detox that you plan into your own schedule.
Recordings will be provided of all classes.
Simply, we can't do this alone and skin in the game increases a sense of commitment to self and others. We need community and structure to confront the insidious infiltration of technology into our lives.

Learn more about Shannon Algeo and Anne Walsh
Anne Walsh is a dynamic opera singer turned traditional Irish folk singer, transformational voice coach, ancestral song carrier, community voice activator, improviser, and “professional” goof. With degrees in Vocal Performance and Music Education, Anne combines her classical singing background with a somatic and intuitive approach to help individuals experience their voice in new and liberating ways. Through the integration of play, movement, confidence-building exercises, rewiring old belief systems that no longer serve, her work is centered around the truth that our voice is already whole and there is nothing we need to fix. Anne’s work transcends conventional vocal training; it is a collaborative journey that uncovers and nurtures the deeper layers beneath the voice, fueling the soul. With over 15 years of experience in performance, teaching, and coaching, Anne has served as a high school and middle school music director in Minnesota Schools, Cayman International School, Seoul Foreign School in South Korea, and performed multiple seasons with The Lyric Opera Studio Weimar in Germany, among many other ensembles.
Since relocating to Los Angeles in 2017, she has established her own coaching studio, where she continues to empower others. Currently based in Topanga, CA, Anne is also a member of Honeywild, a soul-folk trio that emerged in Topanga Canyon in August 2020. In addition to her musical pursuits and coaching, Anne leads ancestral music retreats in Ireland, facilitates community voice activations, group sound meditations, holotropic breathwork sessions, collaborates on various musical projects, and does improv comedy at The Groundlings.
Passionate about preserving creativity and finding sustainable ways to coexist with our present day addictive smartphone technology, Anne recognizes that to answer the call of the wild artist’s soul, it is imperative to come into right relationship with how we choose to engage with tech, and take every measure that we can to protect and uplift our collective dreamscape by learning to regularly unplug.
